This Privacy Policy explains how New Mining Company LLC, operating software products under the NMC Apps brand (including PayoutAudit), collects, uses, stores, and deletes information. It applies to this website and to our applications that connect to e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop.
1. What we collect
Through our applications
When a seller authorizes one of our applications to access their shop data (for example via TikTok Shop's authorization flow), we access and store only the data the product needs to function. For PayoutAudit this means:
- order identifiers, order statuses, and order amounts;
- settlement statements, transaction records, fee lines, refunds, and adjustments;
- shop identifiers and shop-level configuration needed to operate the service.
We do not store buyers' personal details. Buyer names, delivery addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are not persisted in our systems.
Account information
When you create an account with us, we collect your name, business name, and email address in order to provide the service, billing, and support.
Through this website
This website does not use advertising trackers. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) may be retained for security and reliability purposes.
2. How we use data
Data obtained through platform APIs is used solely to provide the contracted product functionality — for PayoutAudit, reconciling settlements against orders and reporting discrepancies to the seller who authorized access. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it for advertising.
3. Where data is stored
Production data is stored and processed in the United States, on encrypted infrastructure operated by reputable hosting providers. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
4. Retention and deletion
- Shop data is retained only while the seller's authorization is active.
- When a seller revokes authorization, or on a verified deletion request, we delete that shop's stored data within 30 days.
- At the end of a contractual relationship with a platform (such as TikTok Shop), we delete all collected customer data in our possession.
5. Sharing
We share data only with processors strictly necessary to operate the service (hosting infrastructure and payment processing), each bound by their own security and privacy obligations. We do not share platform data with any other third party unless required by law.
6. Your rights and requests
Sellers and users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time. We also assist platforms (including TikTok Shop) with data deletion, update, and access requests made on behalf of their users. Requests are actioned within 15 days.
7. Security
We operate under published internal security policies covering access control (least privilege, key-based authentication, multi-factor authentication), encryption, network segregation, vulnerability management, and incident response. If an incident affects your data, we will notify the affected parties and relevant platforms without undue delay, within 72 hours of confirmation. See our Security overview.
8. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least annually and update it when our data practices change. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
